$4,650,000 SETTLEMENT: Doctor Misses Cancer When our 37-year-old client underwent a routine mammogram, she believed her doctors when they told her she had nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, both the radiologist and her treating physician missed the cancer. Together with co-counsel, we retained an expert radiologist who demonstrated that the cancer was on the original mammogram and should never have been missed. Our client missed the opportunity to treat the cancer with routine chemotherapy drugs, and instead, required a mastectomy of her breast. The case was settled for $4,650,000.
